Im back from San Fran!! And no, Im not engaged, even though thats what Hisham thought. LOL. Man San Fran is so much better than crappy Chicago. The streets, architecture, people, the view, everything was awesome. And there werent that many fags there either. ALHAMDULLILAH!!!
Man we had an adventure the first day. We (Me, Samir, and Haron) flew ATA from Midway through discounted tix from a friend that works there. These are stand-by tickets. So we wait until everyone boards the plane to see if there are more seats availble. Once everyone boarded, they started calling ppls name for standby to board. They kept calling names, and none of them were ours. It was looking bad cause if we didnt board, we would have to wait till the next flight to san fran, 4 hours later!! FINALLY they call our names, the last 3 ppl to board.
So we board, but we are split up. We all sat in different places on the plane. So Im getting comfortable in the seat, well as comfortable as i can. Being 6' doesnt help, curse you hisham, kamran, midgets, etc You lucky bastards!! Then a guy comes upto me and asks whats my last name. Now remember whats my last name. HUSSEIN!! I tell him what it is and he tells me to get off the plane. So I grab my carry on and exit. While exiting I see Samir and Haron were asked to leave. So we exit the plane and they say the plane is over the weight limit, and that there is certain cargo that needs to go to San Fran, and with the weather condition (raining) they needed to lighen up the plane. And since we are the last 3 ppl to board, we had to leave. So they were going to make us wait for the next flight, 4 hours later. I was getting pissed off cause I didnt want to wait 4 hours and leave at 9PM and arrive there after 11PM. Then they say they worked with the cargo and made enough weight allowance for us to board. So we run back into the plane, buckle up, take off, and head to San Fran. (This is my first flight in 22 years, last time I flew was when I was 1 year old going to Palestine)
The hotel where we stayed at in downtown San Fran. Now we head to the car rental. Since Masood is on a business trip, we will get it for free. We just go up there, show them license, work id, and give them corporate card and we will be out of there. But wait, he left those at O'Hare. But luckily he just got the corporate card and had it in his back pocket. But they wouldnt allow him to rent it cause he had no license. So we make up a story that Samir works with Masood at Pepsi Co. So they ask Samir where his work ID is at with his corporate card. He said that since he was expecting his co-worker (Masood) to take care of everything, he didnt bring it with him. She wouldnt take it initially, but we kept insisting why he didnt bring it. So she went to the talk to the manager and he OK'd it. So now Avis thinks Samir is an employee of Pepsi Co. So we go to the car and put our stuff into the car and head to our hotel.

This is the car we rented. 2004 Chevy Impala. We arrive to our hotel, and since the hotel reservation is under Masood, we can have the car valeted since its a business expense (Note: The hotel and car is all paid from Pepsi Co since Masood is on a business trip) Man valet parking is awesome. They open the door for you, gets ur bags, etc. Not used to all this kind of service. But where was the red carpet to the room!?! J/K We put our stuff in the room, wash up, and then go to a local place for dinner, even though I ordered a ommellete. So thats the adventure I had going to San Fran.
Here are some nice pics I took over there.

San Fran is all hills. You can get great views on some streets

This boat is in the background of the opening of Full House when they show the cast members. I think its behind Bob Sagat (Danny) But I couldnt find the house though. Bummer

Public bathrooms that are located throughout San Fran, but you got to pay to use them. So is it worth a quarter to relieve yourself. LoL
